chore: integrate minor `.vscode/` tweaks #2857

Description

Addresses a few straggler issues in the .vscode/ files:

~~pwa-extensionHost replaced with extensionHost, as the former was an experimental monicker that's no longer required.~~ EDIT: Still the suggested syntax (intellisense error?)
jock.svg set as svg formatter, because otherwise we're just recommending that extension for no real reason.
For convenience, added default testing task.
