gimx-launcher does not save any parameter #614

Clicking on "Check updates at startup" does not create ~/.gimx-launcher/startUpdates Seen on Ubuntu 18.04. Works with version 7.9. Probably a regression due to #604

All "OFSTREAM()" uses seem to lack O_CREAT.
