I'm currently evaluating open source software to manage upgrade projects and this is the single most important feature I'm looking for - start/end dates for each task that display a visual time frame on a calendar, and to be able to see all projects overlaid together. At the moment I'm developing something using Google calendar/sheets using apps scripts as it's the only thing I've found that comes close to doing what we need. We only really need to see milestones on the calendar to make sure we can schedule each upgrade in without clashes at key points, but of course you'd probably want to be able to tag and toggle different categories/boards in the calendar view so it doesn't become overwhelming, which is just as unhelpful... I hope this helps :)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, @sarahjcotton! I’ll look more into the calendar/sheets integration but it’d be great to have something similar all within mattermost' boards as well!
Summary
It’d be great to have a main (single) view summarizing all the tasks in a given server’s boards. I find sometimes hard to keep track of all the boards by accessing each of them individually – it’d be great to have everything in a single place (as a summary).
