Can not invite users - Invalid registration link #4898

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. At the top right, click on the "Share" button
  2. I copy the registration link provided below
  3. I am providing this link to another user
  4. Fill out form and click "Register" Result is "Invalid registration link, please contact your administrator"

Expected behavior

So I can invite my team to the board.

But I didn’t understand how the problem was solved.

Hey, I just had the same issue, it's not a bug, the UI is just a bit confusing. Original solution here https://github.com/mattermost/focalboard/issues/3997#issuecomment-1286266782

Basically you shouldn't use an internal sharing link. First create a registration link by clicking on the Focalboard logo/name in the top left, then add the new user to your dashboard.
