Here are some more feature requests which would make using Lorien more efficient:

brush width presets similar to the color palette, including a way to switch these via configurable hotkeys and graphically in the ui menu (up to five of such presets should typically be enough)
opacity support, for example to support functionality such as virtual “text markers”
brush presets (setting color, width and opacity at once), again via configurable hotkeys and graphically in the menu

Yes! Very good idea.

Opacity could be useful as well i guess. Not sure about the brush preset feature though...do have an example on how (from a UX perspective) that is implemented in other software? I feel this is a bit to much configuration headache for something that is focused on simplicity.
