New APM modes (ACRO, CRUISE) not shown on OSD

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Update to latest arduplane firmware 2.7.4
2.Enable a new mode for selection (ACRO or Cruise)
3.Select the new mode, and the OSD keeps displaying the previous mode.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expect to see actual mode the apm is in, instead seeing previous mode.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
APM 2.7.4

I must have had an issue with the flash or charset or something. I reflashed 
and reloaded the charset and it is now displaying properly. Please disregard.

I have the exact same issues..what hex file and char set did you reflash 
with...thanks. Is it  minim 2.2 hex file and lates_char set or osd_char set.

Minim osd 2.2 and latest charset. I was told that you need to power the 12 volt 
side of the mavlink while uploading the charset since the video chp is not 
powered by the 5v side from usb. Have not tried it yet though.

Thanks Johnny.I powered up the 12V side and flash the minimosd 2.4 r693 hex and 
latest_charset and it worked .Thanks for your help....

Hi,
I am using following versions:

MinimOSD-Extra_Plane_Pre-release_2.4_r719.hex
MinimOSD_2.4.mcm
CT Tool for MinimOSD Extra 2.3.2.0 Pre Release r713

I have updated the Firmware first and afterwards the Charset.
minimOSD was powered on both sides during upload.

Everything looks very well. I get all the modes MANU/FBWA/LOIT/RTL/ ... but I 
do not get the AUTOTUNE mode. You can hear the APM switching mode but the OSD 
stick with the last mode.

What can I do?
