Installer issues? #61

Buzzbird.exe, v1.9.1.3657, 1/5/2010 Win XP sp3

When I run the installer, there are a few hitches... 1) It creates a startup group for Buzzbird, containing nothing 2) In the "Program Files/Buzzbird" directory, there's a Buzzbird.exe, an application.ini and directories chrome, defaults, and xulrunner, and the latter also contains Buzzbird.exe; as far as I can tell, an identical copy.

The ini file says: Version=0.7 BuildID=20100406 ... but the exe is timestamped 1/5/2010

and lastly, it doesn't seem to run. After installing, I clikclik on either buzzbird.exe file and absolutely nothing happens. Event viewer doesn't show any errors, Process explorer doesn't show anything hung, just nothing.

OK, figgered it out. After installing xulrunner directory to path, needed a shortcut to 'xulrunner "c:\program files\buzzbird\application.ini"' That's probably what was supposed to go in the empty StartUp group.

One suggestion. Would be nice if it checked to see if xulrunner was already installed (it was on my box) and gave the option to not perform a duplicate install.
