A week ago I used onionsearch and it worked and I was able to scrape different websites. The problem is that I wanted to use it this week and it doesn't work. What can happen. I get the following errors, attached screenshot:

I think I replicated your error...mine occurred when I stopped tor service. When I run mine I first enter service tor start I then check the status to make sure tor is running if it is active I then do my onionsearch scrape.

oh by the way ahmia has new onion address : juhanurmihxlp77nkq76byazcldy2hlmovfu2epvl5ankdibsot4csyd.onion you may need to update onionsearch's core.py file with new onion addresses for the remaining search engines you can find. nano core.py I have found about 4 search engines that respond many others have simply closed or reopened under a different name and different search fields.

Yeah, right. After a lot of testing, and using it several times, I think the main error is that the service can be stopped.

SOLUTION:

sudo systemctl status <servicio_de_onion> (i think onion.service)
sudo systemctl restart <servicio_de_onion>
