Error when login #272

Closed Shun87 closed 8 years ago

Shun87 commented 8 years ago

It works well 2 days ago, but now it doesn't work anymore. Error: Oh no! Your login temporarily failed, so please try again later. If your login continues to fail, please visit https://support.snapchat.com/a/failed-login :

deecewan commented 8 years ago

Getting the same error here. I'm assuming this is due to the changes that have been referenced recently. No choice but to wait for it to come back online.

deecewan commented 8 years ago

The thing I don't understand is that the Casper application still logs in perfectly.

Shun87 commented 8 years ago

now I got the error when getClientAuthToken:"The Snapchat version '9.16.2.0' is not currently supported by this endpoint."

liamcottle commented 8 years ago

@Shun87 Update the version from 9.16.2.0 to 9.18.2.0. My servers no longer support that version, as it's too old.

@deecewan My Casper app works, as I'm using a private system I have built. I can't provide information on how this works to the public, however I will possibly provide paid access to my API for logins once It's more stable.

I don't have an ETA yet sorry.

deecewan commented 8 years ago

Ahh, I assumed by the involvement in this project you were using it as a very similar system.

So, essentially, we need to upgrade the version to 9.18.2.0. Is this as simple as just changing the version numbers in the headers? On 4 Dec 2015 11:53 AM, "Liam Cottle" notifications@github.com wrote:

Has anyone had success capturing the auth using a proxy, as explained here? https://github.com/mgp25/SC-API/wiki/How-to-use-proxy

I was trying earlier today but was unable to login while connected to the proxy. I tried logging in first, then closing the app entirely, connecting to the proxy and reopening the app, but was unable to find any relevant entires (feelinsonice-hrd.appspot.com)

lanceyan commented 8 years ago

@liamcottle Unfortunately at this point in time, the Casper API is not working for logins. Registration has been disabled until it is fixed. When can i register? thanks very much!

LarryRiedel commented 8 years ago

I may be interested in paid access through SC-API if it's working in the next few days. I was using SC-API through casper.io until it broke a week ago.

deecewan commented 8 years ago

Definitely. If I can get access, I am more than happy to pay. On 9 Dec 2015 7:25 PM, "LarryRiedel" notifications@github.com wrote:

Can anyone provide an update on this?

mgp25 commented 8 years ago

@waveur35 man you are so impatiente and this is becoming annoying, i have exams in university so i cant spend time updating this thing, and right now im fixing WhatsApp API.

If you want it so bad, you can try updating it yourself, its quite easy to do, and if you dont know, just be patient

Snowlav commented 8 years ago

I think everyone is sick and fucking tired of answering the same fucking question all over again you impatient fucks, shut the fuck up and await further notice. THEY ARE WORKING ON IT, IT'S NOT AN EASY FIX.
