CalDAV sync incomplete after ErrorMessageSizeExceeded

I'm sorry, I did not know where you prefer to track issues, so I assume I created this ticket in the wrong tracker.

When I force Thuderbird to sync the calendar, there are appointments added and removed from the calendar, but it never seems to get it right (plenty of recurring appointments missing).

Unfortunately, triggering a sync from TB never produced a warning nor error. So I used wget to download the calendar. Heureka, now I get some data:

The file downloaded from http://localhost:1080/users/<myusername>/calendar/ seems to be malformed. The last line is:
