Starting February 9, we will no longer support free access to the Twitter API, both v2 and v1.1. A paid basic tier will be available instead

That's that then.

Perhaps the next level is an electron browser directly scraping, posting, deleting, etc....

Note that free access is still available but severely limited. There are now 3 tiers: Free (aka Essential), Basic, Enterprise

Due to the reduced API access on the Free/Essential tier, some features of Semipheral will break, e.g. stats.

Forbidden: 403 Forbidden You currently have Essential access which includes access to Twitter API v2 endpoints only. If you need access to this endpoint, you’ll need to apply for Elevated access via the Developer Portal.
