paid version of synplify OK #4

paid version of synplify may produce better results, is it OK for the contest?

While using $$ version would give advantage it can not be considered a reason to disqualify an entry. Say someone works on paid version, has never used the free one - he submits the entry without knowing that when using free version his entry would OVERMAP the resource. This entry should still be valid. It is of course a bit unfair for those who use free versions.

It would be completly unfair to use a paid version. Aristocracy, no thanks :P

Official FAQ says only FREE TOOLS.
