The list have the same order of the hosts file and since entries can be sorted I think that having an option to invert the order may be confusing.
May this suggested feature help? #21816

2 years ago Hi, I don't agree with your evaluation: I figure out that this tool was built to avoid users to directly manage the host file of windows.
The second consideration that I would like to share is that this tool is most used by advances users that I think that could easy understand and manage a simple sort function (I'm coming from the freeware HOST FILE EDITOR where every column can be used to sort entries: here I'm hoping only to have the last entries before the old ones like a simple ON-OFF option that the user can chooses to activate)

Description of the new feature / enhancement
Hi, I think it could be useful to have an option (that should be saved in the user prefs) to invert the order of the displayed hosts entries. For those who have many entries it is userful to see the last entris in the top of the list.
Another seconday option (it can be achieved in different ways already now) could be a shortcut to open the host lists.

Scenario when this would be used?
We have manu entries and the most important items that we would like to see at the top of the list are the most recent entries.
