Steps to reproduce

Setup a workspace to open an program that has a start-up splash screen, when the workspace is activated PowerToys Workspace tries to size and move the splash screen and fails and then the application opens to the wrong size and in the wrong place!

✔️ Expected Behavior

To open the application, wait for the splash screen to close and then move the application window to the required size and place.

❌ Actual Behavior

When the workspace is activated PowerToys Workspace tries to size and move the splash screen and fails and then the application opens to the wrong size and in the wrong place!

@allisongsa can you provide an example of an application you are seeing this with? Different app splash screens can often behave differently so it's helpful to know which apps are exhibiting this issue.

Hello, the application that is the worst is a program called BankTree (used for accounting), their web site is:

https://www.banktree.co.uk/

I have asked their support to request an option to turn off the splash screen but don't expect them to be agreeable!

@allisongsa can you provide an example of an application you are seeing this with? Different app splash screens can often behave differently so it's helpful to know which apps are exhibiting this issue.

@pbargiona try adding /q as a CLI argument for Word in the Workspaces Editor. This arg is generally used in Office Apps to disable splash screen.

Currently I don't think it is worth it because there is a bug messing with fancy zones snapping and splash-screended applications seem not to be affected. I can get Word to the proper size with macros.
