Currently, it seems the command center can only get images and descriptions from resources that are Canvas Apps. Other resources are just empty. Also, as can be seen in this image, the canvas app description is not too useful, as it is being trimmed.
Describe the solution you'd like
Possibility to add this information to the Command Center Config table. The custom page can then pull description from the table, or get it straight from canvas apps if no other description provided.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The app is really just a collection of links. Maybe we'll not use it and rather have this stuff on SharePoint.

I'm on the june-version. I checked the july release notes, but could not find this mentioned.
We wouldn't want to put the data in that table as it would then need to be updated regularly as things change.
We can put this on the backlog and consider another option.
