update for better consistency across projects #131

bring inconsistency with other pipelines through a few minor low-risk changes

Naming conventions and patterns were not evident. This new pattern support CI, continuous integration, and cd, continuous delivery (which actually includes releasing packages or extensions and deploying sites. the terminology is slightly different and will help alleviate confusion when discussing.

This is fine, however, it is not currently consistent with any other project. Can you make the changes in other projects and cross-link the PRs?

Just to clarify, only FAST itself is not yet consistent, and will be made consistent in follow-up PRs after we let this site for a short amount of time to ensure no issues.
