Typing does not stay active for long

When typing anywhere, the cursor is automatically removed as if i clicked elsewhere, which gets in the way my ongoing work progress

Bisect did not detect the extension causing my issue but I managed to confirm my initial suspicion. After I open up the Tabnine extension for the first time when I open up VSC, that extension interrupts my typing, regardless of where, and the cursor automatically goes to the Tabnine text box. Knowing this, I am definitely disabling that extension.
