I know it's Thunderbird, and not Firefox, but same root issue and same publisher

I thought I had linked to the issue in a way that wouldn't close this one, but apparently the trigger is a bit more sensitive than I thought.

Installation issue.
Brief description of your issue
Uninstall command only starts uninstall UI which needs user interaction but winget claims "Successfully uninstalled" which is not true!
The uninstaller just pops up:
winget uninstall Mozilla.Thunderbird
Steps to reproduce
winget uninstall Mozilla.Thunderbird
Actual behavior
The uninstaller just pops up and winget claims "Successfully uninstalled"
Expected behavior
Actually uninstall silently without user interaction!
