install instructions #1

more detailed install instructions for the non technical people would be nice. i managed to install the database, but got stuck coping the octopus folder.. coping it from src doesnt seem to be right... also do we have to do python bootstrap | setup.py build, install?

I also had some difficulties installing. Have managed to do it, but the install instructions were confusing. I copied the whole 'octopus' folder to 'opt/puli', then I created the 'conf' and 'logs' folders inside the new dir. I copied the content of the old 'conf' folder to new 'conf'.I Also edited the "licenses.lst" and "workers.lst" files to match my configuration.

On the /opt/puli/octopus/dispatcher/settings.py file i eddited the following variables:

thanks for the feedback! guess im fighting with the database stuff.... ill keep on trying, but wont devote all my time to installing it. still.... would be great if someone could write a install script, or a comprehensive install guide.

OK, It is installed, then?? how is the worflow for this? I guess the dispatcher is the server right? then I should install the workers on each node?? how do you do that? there is a bash worker file also what is it for? where do you define the location of maya for example?? any help?
