always "match required" #1162

hi, I can't get any of the consult-{rg, find, grep, git-grep, fd, man} working. I always get this "no match required" message at the prompt

I tried looking at the mentioned hidden buffer for extra details, but I couldn't find it. I made sure to insert the leading space
