Having it as one single line and with horizontal scrolling makes it difficult for users to scroll and read through, and it is difficult to differentiate between the different fields

Team's Response

We don't consider this a bug as users are still able to read the error message in its entirety by scrolling. This was also the way it was done in AB3.

Reason for disagreement: The fact that scrolling needs to be done shows that the result display box is not optimized enough for fast-typists or target users. As a CLI app, it is expected of you to minimise the number of mouse interactions needed, hence I believe that it is a feature flaw.
