configure: error: Detected LibreSSL: This is NOT supported, and may break consensus compatibility! #1

I got an issue when configure MIRE-1.0.1:

configure: WARNING: libzmq version 4.x or greater not found, disabling checking for RAND_egd in -lcrypto... no configure: error: Detected LibreSSL: This is NOT supported, and may break consensus compatibility!

I am using Peppermint 9 (Equal to Ubuntu 18.04) how to solve this issue? Please help.

Are you using openssl 1.0 or 1.1 ? Most of the cryptocurrency using openssl 1.0 , so please install the version openssl 1.0

No. I have openssl (OpenSSL 1.1.1d 10 Sep 2019)
