I guess you would call this ticket “Pitch/speed ramping for AutoDJ transitions”
Use case would be cafes/restaurants/bars who don’t have the budget to buy Traktor DJ just to play random tracks in the background without the awkward silence between tracks. Also good for us to listen to stuff in the background when not mixing.

Thanks! I left a message on Discourse because I have no way to verify the script is actually working (to me it doesn’t sound like it’s working rn)
Any update on this? Given the amount of views of https://mixxx.discourse.group/t/auto-dj-extension-for-beatmatching-and-harmonic-mixing/15962 (20k!) it seems like it is a quite common request ^^

are most-viewed threads promoted and receive even more clicks? (not questionig the usefulness of the ramping feature)
No updates until someone starts working on it...
Ahah, no idea. Just wanted to make sure I've not missed a trick to make it work, and/or a PR (I found https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/pull/1360 that seems abandonned)

I’m trying to add songs in Mixxx Auto DJ but also matching the bpm/phase gradually in the way Traktor does automatically. So far I have used Mixxx Master Sync together with Quantize but I can’t get what I want. Basically in Traktor you see the speed slider in both decks starting to move slowly in the last 10 seconds of the song so the BPMs perfectly match by the time you are +10 seconds into the next song. Is there a way to do this with Mixxx and Auto DJ? I’m on Ubuntu 20.04 with latest stable Mixx version. This is a new feature request, thanks!
