No internet connection

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
HTC EVO 4G
- Fresh EVO 4.3.1 by flipz

Which firmware is installed?
Android - 2.3.3
Baseband - 2.15.00.09.01

What version of wireless tether are you using?
3.1-pre101

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clear all previous versions of wireless tether
2. Install latest version of wireless tether
3. Press to start tethering
4. Connect to phone with PC

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to receive internet access, but instead I get "No Internet 
Connection" warnings and no internet connectivity.

Please provide any additional information below.

I've tested all of the following combinations of settings, without any success:

Device Profile: Auto and EVO 4G
Wifi Encryption: both on and off
Wifi Driver reload: both on and off
Access-Control: both on and off
MSS Clamping: both on and off
Routing fix: both on and off

I have the same exact phone and rom from fresh, no problem before. Now I will 
say a couple of months ago there was a new superuser update I did and lost my 
tether internet as well, I had to un-install the update and then it worked 
again. With the new Fresh rom it included the new superuser. It seems wireless 
tether doesn't like the new superuser?

Please help as we need our tether capability!
