3 years ago - don’t assume order (book, screen reader/audiobook)
- hyperlink to it
- Content should be understandable without images
- use captions AND alt attributes (see https://www.stylemanual.gov.au/content-types/images/alt-text-captions-and-titles-images). iBooks shows alts when zooming in on images
- animated GIFs need a good description , or provide an alternative content using shortcodes
