Old IE support #44

Any interest in a pull request for old IE patches and possible support of IE 7? I'd like to use this project but I need to be able to support old corporate machines that suck.

@granteagon I'd love to see it. Might be better off in a fork that we could point people at if it's too big. Please submit!
