On another note, I feel like having two tabs of intermediates is redundant, and sometimes even confusing when you're trying to remember which one the recipe you're looking for is in. They could be consolidated into one like I've outlined above, with the science packs going to the very bottom. I've laid it out so that Intermediates would go into Bob's Intermediates, but it could go the opposite way instead. Solid fuel could go into Bob's Materials (this is where the hydrogen and sour gas solid fuel recipes are) or all solid fuels, enriched fuels, rocket fuel, and nuclear fuel could all go into fluids alongside the oil recipes. The drone frames could be moved to the top group with the ammo intermediates instead, which might save an added line (if the green set of robot tools isn't added back)
Plates doesn't need too much work. Most of the troublesome stuff has already been taken care of alongside Assembly. There are a significant number of recipes that need to be added to the locale, but that's basically busywork.
There is, however, one significant issue that needs addressing. I think we have to remove tungstic acid because of Quality. Essentially, change the chain from:
tungsten ore + HCl -> tungstic acid -> tungsten oxide + hydrogen -> powdered tungsten + nickel -> tungsten plate
to:
tungsten ore + HCl -> tungsten oxide + hydrogen -> powdered tungsten + nickel -> tungsten plate.
The reason for this is because fluids can't carry over quality, so the tungstic acid stage means that tungsten is the only material that loses any quality it had from its ore. I'm not thrilled about this, but I suppose we should be glad that this seems to be the only production chain to suffer from this issue.
Also, I'd like to suggest that the recipe be changed to be 2 ore + 50 HCl(up from 25) to make 2 tungsten oxide and 1 calcium chloride. Calcium chloride normally takes 50 HCl to make, so having it be cheaper from tungsten ore almost gives tungsten an effectively negative energy cost.
