Character: Tophoro

Hero Description

Tophoro is inspired by the characters Totoro(Studio Ghibli) and Toph(Avatar). His personality reminds Thoph's: he is cute but extremely strong and determined to fight; and his body reminds of Totoro: it's rounded.

Gameplay

He plays a tank, has slow movements(because he is heavy), small attack range, must protect the team and help them to damage the enemies.

Theme

His theme is inspired by Toph (Avatar). Toph is probably the best earth bender. She is blind, which helps her to better feel the earth. She is funny, cute and brave in a fight. Tophoro is also blind and uses his feet and stick to "see" the ground.

It's also inspired by Totoro, a large and forest spirit created by Studio Ghibli. He is kinds of shy but very friendly.

Idle

Tophoro just breath, arms along the body, belly moving.

[STICK] Walk

~Tophoro walks slowly, arms along the body. Each step moves his body to one size.~

Hurt

Tophoro's body inclines to his right, the left foot gets out of the ground. He opens his arms to the side. His mouth opens in a small "o" form.

Animation:

[LEFT] Higher ground

Description: cast a rock circle that stays in the position casted for 4 seconds. Deal damage on the enemies that enters the area Cast Animation: Tophoro uses his right hand to move the stick to the front of his body, raises it above the head and then back to the ground.

Effect Animation: small brown spheres slowly flows from the ground surrounding Tophoro's body.

Inspiration

[MIDDLE] Earth Wall

Description: invoke a temporary irregular brown wall on the map blocking characters walk for X seconds.

Cast Animation: ~Tophoro raises his arms in a 90-degree angle positioned to the front of his body with the ground.~ His face turns into a tough and angry face. He bends his knees in a position of raising something really heavy from the ground.

Inspiration wall format:

Effect Animation 1: a brow piece of land emerges from the ground. Small pieces of ground falling helps composing the effect.

Effect Animation 2: reversed animation for when the eath wall is going to disapear.

[RIGHT] Earth rise

Description: Tophoro invokes a pieces of rock that falls into the ground having a long range casting. Apply stunn to enemies hit by it (1s of stunn). The second animation related to this skills causes damage to enemies that are on this area.

Effect Animation: a big rouded brown piece of land falls into a neaby position in the map, damaging the enemy on that position.

[Q] Ground force

Description: skill with a medium range. Will root enemies on the area (long root).

Inspiration face: he yells very loud making his hair moves up and show his white eyes.
