Report 2 Grading #154

I'm currently grading and have found a discrepancy in the budget/funding section.

In the assignment description the funding section states that only MAE-funded projects have to have a section requesting funds (or stating where the funding will come from). Whereas in the budget rubric we ask for a funding breakdown from each source (MAE or Sponsor).

Thus, it seems the description requires only MAE-funded projects to have this textual statement, while the rubric requires all projects to have a textual statement requesting funds.

So far, the total costs have been included with in the BOM. I will not markdown the students of my sponsor-funded projects for not stating that their funding is from their sponsor as long as their total cost and per-part costs are in the BOM.

Some reports do not include all sub-sections that are outlined in the rubric, e.g., separating out: needs, specification, and a mission statement. Some actually seemed to miss the mission statement completely.
