It would be nice if the wooden tables in the design studio had a protective coating applied to them over the summer. If we can get the money, we can have the facilities coat them. But it may also be fun to let the student teams/clubs customize them with designs (paint or decals) and then coat them in the process. We then just need to cover the paint costs. If the students customize the table tops they will be more likely to take care of them and will feel more ownership of them.
