Save longer messages (>160 chars) in WebSMS (KitKat) #829

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. send a SMS via WebSMS with more than 160 chars

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Only 160 chars are saved, the rest will be truncated.
Save the whole message and if not possible at least split it.

What version of the product are you using? "Last" is not appropriate. Make
sure you tell at least which app you are using. On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

I will fix it as soon as I find time. This is more a note. If anyone else needs
it, feel free to fix it.

I have the same issue, but sometimes it displays nothing in WebSMS and
sometimes it just displays the text of an old message.
