What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install fresh install of Mission Planner 1.1.13
2. Plug in previously installed Joystick (Tried 2 Brands)
3. Goto to Configuration, Planner, Joystick setup, let axis button scan finish.
4. Auto XYZ and Throttle... Click Save. Click Enable.
5. Either close or leave window open.
6. Connect to APMega.
7. Back at Configuration, click setup tab. Hit Calibrate. Calibration Slider
Graphs don't show any activity from joystick, Also The previously open Joystick
setup window Sliders that previously worked no longer show joystick activity.

On what operating system? Running Windows 7 32 Bit.
pic3 shows everything normal ( some things don't scale right.)
pic4 shows Calibration screen
pic5 shows what Joystick setup windows does after connecting to APM.

Factory defaulted APM with no change.
Everything starts working again when config.xml is erased and Mission Planner
restarted.

Please provide any additional information below.

you cannot calibrate the radio using the joystick. it works exactly the other
way around. the joystick uses the radio mins/maxs. to make it work you need to
modify the rc1-4 min's and max's
