For instance, for software and file formats, there is http://www.wikidp.org/ , which can display information about things like

For publications, there is https://tools.wmflabs.org/scholia/ , which can display profiles of authors, institutions, journals, publishers, individual works, topics and many other things, e.g.

There are multiple other Wikidata frontends, as per https://twitter.com/EvoMRI/status/991790599698288640 .

For queries not (yet) covered by any of these frontends, the generic Wikidata SPARQL endpoint can be used, e.g. to display "Journals that have published the largest number of scientific articles that have a software title as a main subject" (hat tip to @emulatingkat) or Institutions by number of publications in PubMed Central
