Can't use non-default calendar (setting calendar name) #68

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set all properties in sync.properties
2. set google.calendar.name=xxxx where xxxx is name of existing calendar (but
not the default one)
3. launch sync

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to see all calendar entries into xxxx calendar, but instead it goes
into default one

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Notes 7/Vista 32bits
SyncNotes2Google v0.5/Java 1.6.0_11

Please provide any additional information below.
I'm using local replica of Notes
Many thanks or this very usefull application !

It did this for me too if I used a calendar name with a space in it.
Windows XP Professional SP3
SyncNotes2Google: syncnotes2google-0.0.5
Java: 1.6.0_26-b3

When I changed the calendar name to something like "Work" it inserted it under
that name.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

I just tried with the suggested calendar name (Work); but it did not change anything; still the default calendar. Thanks anyway for the suggestion

I use FR settings for Notes & google + I'm behind a proxy; don't konwn if it

When I installed it for the first time I synchronised the next 3 months. then I
realised that i wanted to put my work entries into a calendar with a similar
name. so I deleted all the entries and tried to synchronise again... It didn't
work. Well I waited and tried again, changed the settings, etc. still the same.
Eventually a colleague told me that he had synchronise isses which he solved
with a notes restart. this worked for me too, but unfortunately just one entry
got synchronised afterwards (but in the right calendar "work" tought...). to
fix that, I had to delete the last syncrhonised entry. now it works, and puts
it into the right google calendar... (which i created before..)

cheers
