I'm not sure how big the list of examples is going to get, but I can see it getting very complex when it comes to naming. If we add some filters we can have better control over what is shown, and also we'd be able to just write what the example name is.
We could have a filters sidebar that has:
Dataset
Paul Revere
Les Miserables
Project 1
Project 2
Etc.
Vis Type/App
Node Link
Adjacency Matrix
Type/App 1
Type/App 2
Etc.
From there we would have a bunch of examples titled "Paul Revere" with a small color-coded badge next to the name saying something like node link or adjacency matrix.
=====
Alternatively, this could be overkill and we could just tweak the design and have different sections for each example.
