It help to have some styling options on a "generic bracket" type for different types of arbitrary groupings/indications. This example is from a solo guitar work showing two notes being barred by the first finger and 3 notes by the fourth finger. Using the arpeggio bracket doesn't work for the lower instance because it doesn't allow two arpeggio brackets on the same voice. Plus, it won't allow restyling to make them less deep.
Should this be considered as this same issue, or should it be a separate issue? Is the solution being requested the same?
Indeed, a 'better'* generic bracket would even be better.
The use of the arpeggio-bracket was just a work-around
Your idea
I'm trying to add brackets to my organ score, indicating that both staves have to be played with both hands on 1 manual. The symbols looks like an opening and closing square bracket. The left bracket is available in the Arpeggio Palette, the right one does not seem to exist.
Problem to be solved
It is customary to indicate manual changes with a start symbol, and an end symbol.
