There was an option to set either "default" or "baroque" playback of the short trill (possibly of some other ornaments as well) found under ornament properties in MS3 inspector. When set to "default", the trill would start with the note it was assigned to, while "baroque" had it starting with the note above. This functionality seems to be absent in Muse Score Studio 4.
