The above will break everything, as it's focused on simple applications. We have too many deps to pull off major upgrades like the above.
This library was never properly migrated after Dash 1.0 and, though components seem to work fine, it needs due diligence and reporting herein.
This issue will likely need refinement after requirements are discovered/understood fully.
