Channels waiting to close for months #755

I had to redownload the block chain and upload my Lightning channel state after a failed SSD clone. The channels are stuck in limbo showing waiting to close for months. How do I force close these channels?

MynodeBtc 0.3.10 version

LND Version | v0.15.5 v0.21.0 v0.6.1

This is what it said when I try to close the channels. image

It looks like they are already in a pending close state. You may need to wait and/or check more info via lncli commands.

Three channels have been closing for 2 months. One channel has been closing for about a year. I am not sure how to check channel with lncli commands but will do some research. I am familiar with bitcoin-cli on windows. Hopefully it is not a far leap to learn.

How do I get into lni-cli on my node? It looks like bitcoin-cli is available

tehelsper commented 1 year ago

The "lncli" command is available after logging in as the admin user.

Got to lncli. Restored wallet and channels again. But still pending. I am going to consider the coins lost and start a new node. The channels show no balance but there was a balance before hardware crashed.

@hotdogdad Lmk your mail/telegram.. If I could see your pubkey, I might know right away to what degree I can help with your funds recovery. (Except of zombie channels with long term unreachable owners, recovery should be possible with chantools)
