CEE has "temporarily withdrawn" their map:
In 2022 we created a national map with the most comprehensive dataset of community energy organisations and projects in England. A large amount of data in this map is internal to CEE and has been collated through our annual State of Sector reports; as we prepare for the launch of State of the Sector 2024 in February 2024 we have temporarily withdrawn the national map ahead of relaunching it with up to date data following the fresh round of data gathering for State of the Sector. We know the map is a useful tool to many in the sector and other stakeholders and we will relaunch it as soon as we are able to in the Spring; please bear with us - State of the Sector is a signficant undertaking.
Community Energy England suggested we include some data from their public map:

Given the source data is split by RCEF/non-RCEF and also type of project (solar, hydro, wind, heat, etc) it’s tempting to maintain that depth of data in the Hub. But I can already tell the categorisation of types is messy ("heat biomass" vs "heat pump"; "generation multiple tech" etc). So maybe the best place to start is a "Number of Community Energy Projects in this constituency" top-level figure, and then have their names all listed individually on the area page (same as we do for WI Groups, for example).
We should be able to extract the points from a KML export of the map, as we did for #101 Aid Alliance Power Postcodes.
