@zarino Added a link to the draft event page to background above.

Made 12 tickets available on the assumption that we'll have no-shows.

Added these Qs to order form:

  1. Briefly, please tell us why you're interested in joining this workshop?
  2. Please outline any experience of exploring and/or making home energy improvements.

Any feedback appreciated.

Ta!

Just had a look at the Eventbrite page. Looks good! Only points you might want to consider are:

If you need help with anything, just ping me.

@zarino Happy for us to use Google Meet and climate@mysociety.org as the reply email address for attendees?

zarino commented 1 year ago

I wonder whether we should use Zoom? Google Meet’s less popular, people might be confused by it.

climate@mysociety.org as the reply email address seems sensible.

Hiya @Gemmamysoc !

Thanks for feedback above. Will fold that in.

Tried logging into the main Zoom account as suggested on the wiki to see if I could set up a link for the workshop we've confirmed so far but couldn't seem to get hold of the 2FA code via the sysadmin google group.

Hopefully will manage to do that tomorrow but just checking in advance of that it makes sense to set myself up as a new user on there?

And if there's anything else I should be thinking about e.g. clashing with another Zoom meeting on the same account?

Thanks!
