Currently there's only additional detection for openSUSE but it's scripted the way it can add more distro detection easily.

$VER currently unused, it may be used to distinguish changes to the package manager syntax.

nice. Some of the packages lists are also package manager specific. This is a good foundation to declare that within the pakage file. merged.
