What license is it released according to?

That's a good question, I've never been very license-savvy, I don't plan on selling this. I'll think about this. Would you have any suggestions ?

For Jamoma we use the 3-clause revised BSD License. This is a very permissive license and would e.g. permit Cycling'74 to incorporate the code into future distributions of Max.

Hmm but this would mean that Cycling could basically take my work and sell it, I'm not sure I like that idea :P

I'm happy giving it out for free to users but I think it would be unfair for me if Cycling profits from it directly (unless they hire me in some way). In the case of Jamoma, is financed in some way (by a University or such ?)
