The general issue that this seeks to address is the availability and visibility. The following steps are to be taken:

[ ] publish the application note in JOSS
[ ] publish the polished package on CPAN
[ ] subsume the package in larger collections, such as BioConda (which others? Guix?)
[ ] make standalone installation easier, e.g. via Docker
[ ] make installation in Galaxy easier, e.g. Docker + tool shed
