Hide/Show dynamic actions only work with the original select list... how can I modify this to work with this better looking plugin?

The hide and show dynamic actions should instantly work on the Select2 items. The demo page for example includes both dynamic actions: https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=64237:20

What APEX version are you on? What browser are you using?
