Sorry fir this stupid "issue" but I don't know how else to contact you lol. I saw your issue on DXVK project and it seems that you have Gothic2 with DX11 patch working on linux. I had it working too about a year ago, but now I installed the game again and I have several issues. I was hoping maybe you can help me. Game runs ok, but sometimes it crashes back to desktop without any error or anything. There's also no music, only in the main menu when you launch the game. I'm playing Gothic2 + NoTR the polish version with system pack 1.8 and dx11 patch 17.5_liker. Also sometimes the screen just goes black, while the game is still working (I can hear everything, walk around, use the menu).

About the music... I know I need to install dsound, I've done it but it doesn't work anyway.... Really weird, a year ago I had returning 2.0 installed and everything worked even with good performance. Please help :) fellow gothic maniac.

I have Gothic2 + NoTR Russian version, System Pack 1.8 and DX 11 patch from here https://github.com/Kirides/GD3D11 (but liker version should be just fine). I am on wine-tkg-git (https://github.com/Tk-Glitch/PKGBUILDS/tree/master/wine-tkg-git ; default + fullscreen hack) but not so long ago plain wine-staging was enough. Music works without native deps with wine-tkg-git these days. Otherwise native dsound and directmusic are necessary (with dsound set to builtin to prevent crash). DX11 renderer also needs native d3dcompilers and d3dx9_something and d3dx10_something and d3dx11_something_ + d3dcompiler_47.dll (distributed with GD3D11, but set it to native). I did't have any issues with this setup, except for this https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48483 . Are you affected by this annoying cursor issue too? If not, what is your desktop environment (I suspect it could be related to KDE Plasma)?

Sorry for late reply, I don't check github that often. Thanks, I got the game working. And yes I do have the cursor visible on both xfce and i3. Shadows look terrible though, on models that is. On the ground it looks fine, but on characters it's blocky and just weird.
