replace the murder dialog by a balloon

Maybe the murder dialog is a bad thing?
(see issue 3 and issue 122)

What we could do instead is show an "error" ballon saying
'Specto is still checking watches for updates. Wait for the process to
finish or click on the "Stop" button.'

Or another possibility, with buttons in the balloon:
'Specto is still checking watches for updates. 
[Stop checking and quit] [Emergency quit]'

I would guess the emergency quit would stay there because there might be
cases where stop does nothing, right? Although the balloon will disappear
if the user clicks "stop", he can try quitting again to get a "second
chance" to trigger the emergency quit procedure.
