How do we make the configuration manageable? Probably by making each tile a separate item with its own configuration. General settings of a dashboard can then remain on the client configuration model.
How should the clients be refactored in order to make them maintainable? And do we know where to find acceleration within the current setup?

I have discussed options for storing client configuration state with Casper related to the ticket https://nelen-schuurmans.atlassian.net/browse/BACK-35 . Will update it soon.

Once that is done, we should be able to create management screens for dashboards, each type of tile, fake data.
