FreeBSD Boot Menu crashes when a key is pressed at the 10 sec countdown #1215

Describe the bug The menu works, if you dont do anything, but if you press a button the menu crashes.. This doesnt happen in the FreeBSD 13 ISO.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Boot in the Menu
  2. Press Cursor Down

Expected behavior No crash

Additional context Tested in Vmware.

Found the issue. Bug in the used image. But not hosted from netboot as far as I see it.
