When viewing a given study in the curation phase, it can be confusing to have all of these links. Instead we should just provide a simple way via chips to open the full text, the DOI, or the pubmed page if it exists.
We should have two "modes" when viewing a study in the curation phase. One is a view mode and the other is an edit mode. Note that we don't expect users to edit much at this point
UPDATE:
We want to streamline curation and make it more intuitive (with the intention of adding an AI workflow in the future). This is now higher priority as we think users see curation as somewhat of a hurdle when creating automated meta-analyses.
Features:
Through dogfooding and user testing, it's been discovered that the drag and drop is not really useful or utilized at all.
One major question: is the curation board positive or negative? On one hand, it allows users to view all studies and visualize their progress. On the other hand, it doesn't really serve much value and it can appear very cluttered.
A solution that should be visited would be to create a page with tabs for each phase such as this: https://mui.com/material-ui/react-tabs/ Each tab would be a different step (identification, eligibility, etc)
Within each tab, you would have separate buttons: uncategorized / excluded / needs review / pubmed import (tag) and then the view is further subdivided by study.
